Thousands of protesters crossed the Brooklyn Bridge with George Floyd's brother
PROTEST. Terrence Floyd attended a memorial service in Brooklyn for his brother George Floyd, before taking part in a March with thousands across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan in New York.
Thousands of protesters crossed the Brooklyn Bridge to Lower Manhattan after participating in a tribute ceremony in a park in Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn attented by George Floyd's younger brother.
"I'm proud of the protests but I'm not proud of the destruction", Terrence Floyd said before taking part in the March to Foley Square in Manhattan, New York.
The protest was held during George Floyd's first funeral service in Minneapolis (MN). George Floyd's death on May 25th by Minneapolis policeman, Derek Chauvin, who pressed his knee on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, has prompted ongoing global protests against police brutality.
In New York as in many cities across the country, protests do not falter.
